The Commonwealth shames. Severn Trent Water polluted Smethwick pools with raw sewage. This games sponsors are wildlife killers and environmental terrorists.

Firstly there are a couple of things to say about Birmingham 2022.

• Smethwick, where the Aquatics centre has been built is NOT in Birmingham.
• This new facility is a colossal waste of money and a vanity project which many people will hide behind, attempt to use to promote their own political importance using the area as a magnetising tool to whip up local support under the false banner of “local pride”.
• This money  could have been better spent on decontaminating and improving the pool just 400 metres away that Severn Trent Water polluted with raw sewage, an issue which has not been resolved as these pathetic games unravel.
• Sport in Sandwell has long been funded and used to the detriment of other pursuits and events- particularly nature conservation. This SAC centre will benefit a tiny handful of people and not the whole community itself.

As for the Games themselves, the opening ceremony was a regional embarrassment. You know when you are in trouble when Z list nobodies have to introduce themselves as “comedians”, and yet these people I have never heard of had a main spot to introduce the nations of the Commonwealth as “Stella and the dreamers” and the collection of players danced around a fake cut and created a carpark in the middle of the stadium.

The cruelty of letting off fireworks  from the lake at Perry Park next to the revamped and scaffold laden Alexander stadium is another matter of how the organisers of this trash event have no interest in anything other than a showpiece one off spectacle. But I would not expect anything less from the creator of the most overrated British television programme in history , which revels in gang violence and cartoonish depictions of mixing factual history with fiction – much like the city of Birmingham itself- but oh, “what a diverse city it is”- for the 1000th time.

On the night, it is clear to see that the barge pictured above sent out a volley of unnecessary rockets over the water, from the picture on the Birmingham Live website.

Because wildlife matters more than human pride.

No one wanted to host the Commonwealth Games of 2022. Edmonton in Canada withdrew its bid and Durban in South Africa toyed another, but they were too skint and were stripped very early on by the Commonwealth bigwigs. This left a crisis decision to host it in England, where Liverpool and Birmingham were the only councils foolish enough to take it on. Liverpool got off lucky with the Midlands city taking on the poison chalice. The final cost of these games , including the hidden ones like heating and lighting, security and PR branding will only be made known after the two week event has finished, but it is a ludicrous waste of money and one which the area and the country cannot afford.

Into this mix comes the toxic power of large corporate entities like Severn Trent Water- a failed monopoly and serial environmental polluter. Their association with these games is why we are boycotting it and asking people to give the games a big finger locally when as we have seen, this water company have blighted the area and its pools and have killed wildlife in the process. THESE TRULY ARE THE GAMES OF THE SEWER. 

It is interesting to note that local traders have recently taken to social media to decry the games and the costs lost to local businesses due to the road closures around the aquatics centre new build. For locals living off the roads, you will need a permit to park and have to endure police checkpoints to boot.

Please consider joining our facebook page or giving it a like in support of what we are trying to do to campaign for a cleaner park environment in Sandwell’s contaminated pools and waterways.

I would like to stress that this desire is not being used as some political vehicle to ingratiate any individual down the path of political office, it is just about what is morally right, and Severn Trent and their backers are just not morally right, and their lack of interest in putting right the damage they caused is pure evil.

Sandwell’s first lady- swanderwoman decided to take to the streets in protest against this abomination. Luckily, no one challenged her hidden “baton” in her trunks, which may have excluded her from competition  😛 😆 With a trusty banner and sign, the closed off entrance to spectators was adorned with the facts of the case, with the shadow of the swimming pool looming like a constructed turd in the background.

You go girl!

And meanwhile down the road, at the scene of Severn Trent’s disgusting grime, around 400 metres as the swan flies from the aquatics centre,  it seems even the games mascot appears to be on our side.

*SMBC claim “£73 million” , though the games organisers  have yet to reveal the true costs like heating/lighting/security/PR materials etc associated with this building, or if the conversion of the building after the two week event includes this £73 million figure, £13 million more than originally budgeted for.

The Commonwealth Games is a ghastly bloated festival for the privileged, elite sport types and those who still think that Britain has any meaningful power in the world- which it does not.

The fact that it should come to Birmingham- or a much wider area of The West Midlands County which many want to recreate as “Greater Birmingham” is in itself perverted and disrespectful of those who identity as living in “The Black Country” , and are not and never will be governed by some epicentre claiming to be “the second city”- which it also is not either.

Just advertising space for a polluting environmental terrorist corporate entity.

Smethwick in particular, which has found itself as the host of the aquatics events in the newly built construction in the middle of a housing estate is typical of those out of touch with reality who plan such abominations. If you ever visit Wembley Stadium, you will note  what an absolute shit hole Brent is , with this sports Mecca sitting like an out of place palace in the middle, and the disconnect between millionaires who sit in private boxes and those living in council houses that are probably smaller and with less mod cons. The aquatics centre itself is another of these out of place white elephant buildings for the upper levels of society to grace whilst the rest of us orbit from outside like some demented Quaker Garden City. It will not even be open to the public for over a year, by which time even more money will have been wasted to condense it in size.

But not content with creating this monstrosity and destroying Londonderry fields in the process, it appears that the organisers of the CG22 and SMBC have attempted to do a quick DIY makeover with banners of bright pretty colours to block out the eyesore spectacles around the new building. So as can be seen below, the Manor Road allotments site virtually opposite has been blanked out by these Josephs in full technicolour glee multi-coloured nappies to blot out the blots on the landscape. ]

Not only here however, but along part of the route which will see the arrival of  The Queen’s dildo, er sorry baton. I’m sure her maj is not getting that much wood these days, but this is just one part of the false “inclusion” of local people, with the same clique of minor celebrities and those with a hard luck story being drafted in to take part in the “relay”. The royal receptacle is shaped like a weapon and not a flame, similar to those that natives no doubt were brutally beaten with by invaders from Britain before being put in chains.

The most offensive part of this is the decking of Smethwick Hall Park with this material, a site where the wildlife was murdered by Severn Trent’s sewage pollution in 2019, which flowed through the allotments , and which pollution still arrives in this collection vessel today.

Yep, I’ll remind people of this in every single post mentioning Severn Stench Water.

The area where the raw sewage was scooped out has now been grassed over by council contractors in another attempt to hide what was there. The council, as I noted at the time misinformed and lied to the public with messaging that it was “mud”

It’s amazing what a bit of grass seed can do, but beware what lies beneath, as botulism can survive in the “mud” for some time.

From street view, you will see the banners and the “sport”, but look over this into the pool and you will see unnatural nutrient loading green algae, and don’t blame the birds, because this is an indicator of human faces and bad water feeding it.

 In certain parts of Smethwick, though notably not the High Street, we also have the same treatment encompassing the two railway stations. It’s debateable as I write that the lifts at Rolfe Street will be ready for this event, but one scratches the head to wonder why it has taken so long for everyone in any position of power to ever get this basic disabled friendly feature? This is the fraud that they want to spin off public transport- that is if it is even running with strikes and other matters ongoing- such as the Midland Metro.

What is most pathetic is that on the reverse side of some of the banners, we see “Sandwell” printed as though they are desperate to remind people as to what borough they are in. Most , particularly the 3unts from London media and the BBC will of course think they are still in Birmingham, and not really care as to what “sandwell” even is or means.

West Smethwick Park, another stones throw from the aquatics centre is still not finished with its “restoration”, despite me making two complaints to the Heritage Lottery that funded the scheme. As for the contractors Casey, I can only urge prospective clients to not touch these useless cowboy fuckers with a barge pole. The work is amateur, it is not up to standard and they have failed in almost everything on site around the pool. 

One example is this. This work was supposedly going to be finished in mid December 2021. We are now in July 2022. Until its done, better just keep jumping- maybe you”ll get fit from doing so.

In Birmingham itself, the Alexander stadium has been rebuilt, also shutting off large areas of the park next to it to members of the public. This has been ongoing causing inconvenience for the last few years. With little time to go it does not appear to be anywhere near ready.

The catch line “sport is just the beginning” appears , but I’m not sure what the organisers and backers of this crap actually think will be the middle and end of the story? Will the area improve, I very much doubt it, and the racks of scaffolding, no doubt hidden from camera view to the world show how this falsity is being propped up by lies and disingenuous false flag waving.

It is the case that media outlets in this country have gone to great lengths to dis the Olympic games and World Cup events in countries like China and Brazil, but do they have the balls to look at what is on their own shitty doorstep, or are they just shills for corporate entities writing copy lies for their aims?- I do think that this is largely the case, but there is one decent report that is of note that bucks this trend. Others write not as “journalists” but just PR merchants covering over the shit cracks like their political friends.

There will be people scratching their heads when the circus has left town as to what this rubbish was really all about.

You may have heard of waterboarding, a coercive form of torture where water is poured over the mouth covered with a cloth. In a variant of this, the privatised water industry in the UK appear to engage in “shitboarding” in much the same way with nature, with cloth being replaced with soiled rags, and the water with, well, you know what.

It seems that the so called “Birmingham 2022’s Official Nature & Carbon Neutral Supporter” has been emboldened by this ludicrous bullshit title by aggressively attempting a PR propaganda exercise to fool the public. You can watch this 30 seconds of  lying shite at the link below.

Some thicko with a Birmingham accent reads out the clinically patronising script, talking as though “our water” matters to the likes of the multi million pound failure CEO Liv Garfield and co based in Coventry, when as we have seen first hand, “our water” is being polluted by their dirty sewage laden filth coming out of their failed network and sewage works on a regular basis, and over many years.

There are images of children drinking water and splashing in puddles, whilst the oldies drink cups of tea and take showers. Let’s juxtapose this with the CG22 area local reality of  open water polluted with human faeces, like that which the poor birds in Smethwick have consumed and the combined sewer networks that spew floaters, johnnies, fanny gags, and god knows what else across the water lilies and pond skaters.

That’s not just any old water, it’s Severn Trent Water- water that leaves you gagging for it.

This then switches to lecturing us about looking after water and “doing our bit today” and ending with the catch line;

“let’s do right by it”.

Well, Severn Trent did not do right by cleaning up and paying for their disgusting pollution of Smethwick Hall Park, but instead shafted Sandwell council with a fake  community fund trail. 

In terms of the CG22, whoever appointed STW to the title should be shot, as they are either,

(a) Blissfully unaware of STW’s  dire environmental record since they were first privatised (b) are a bent political/civil service entity taking money  for favours granted                            (c) or just could not give a shit about what STW are doing locally by destroying rivers and open water with sewage pollution. THEY ARE NOT AND NEVER WILL BE “SUPPORTERS OF NATURE” WHEN THEY HAVE DEMONSTRATED THAT THEY CAUSE DEATH AND MISERY TO NATURE WITH THEIR POLLUTION.

Of course, it is probably the case the STW bought the title themselves by showering the pauper games with money they had earned off hard pressed water rate payers.

In terms of the Birmingham Commonwealth Games Organising Committee, a registered business, there are some statements made from the last corporate accounts which are interesting about their sponsors, and a list of “partner”,  “supporter” and “provider” businesses are revealed. Obviously, this is just advertising space for those involved.

It is also interesting as an aside to see the involvement of the controversial law firm Gowling WLG whom the sandwell skidder has blogged about at length. The allegations of racism associated with their former entity are not a good look either in association with CG22, especially when criticism has been levelled about the “diversity” of the games themselves in the community. Are they the Games’ “diversity champions” or some other weird title?  😮

According to this organisations “strategic priorities”, they state that STW came on board in March 2021, but it does not state how this process came about or which body or individual engineered it. The buzz words of “sustainability” and “carbon neutrality” drip like vacuous fat from the page, and it is stated that STW will plant a given number of trees in the urban area. I’m not sure how they magically arrive at the symbolic figures apparently matching “carbon neutrality”- what a remarkable coincidence.

This absolute hypocrisy and “nature supporting” lies with tree planting and “carbon neutrality”- whatever the fuck this greenwashing really means.

One has to wonder how the 72 nations and their athletes including the glut of politicians, civil servants and has-been cocksucker commentators are being neutral when they all fly in on planes from across the world to converge for a two week event?

The aquatics centre itself in Sandwell and not Birmingham, ripped up a perfectly good park, dozens of trees and wildflowers and a habitat for wildlife to make way for a building in a residential area wrong place and with no direct rail or transport links.

Look around Oldbury and Sandwell and you will find scores of trees that have been ripped out to make way for housing developments, or are in that process such as the ones above off West Bromwich Street and the border of Roway Lane.

Severn Trent’s annual latest figures of profit can be read below, where they obviously shower themselves with money rather than shite.

Garfield also gushes about the CG22 tie in.

There are also semantic lies from STW, who aim to present pollution in their own framed way. In fact you could say that the only thing more dodgy than those dodgy Irish fellas who dress up in high vis jackets to visit old people’s homes claiming to be “from the water board”, is the real “water board themselves.

I showed the true scale of their dire record in this post, and the excellent Rivers Trust have also exposed how far their faecal trail runs.

Taken as all incidents of pollution, categories 1-3, Severn Trent are revealed here as a major water polluter, if not the greatest single water polluter in the region.

Between the years 2013-2020, they were responsible for

2013 29%,

2014 23%,

2015  20.7%,

2016 27.7%,

2017  27.9%,

2018   26.8%,

2019     28%,

2020 20.4%.

This reveals an average of  25.8% ,  over the 8 year period meaning that this water company, who claim to be promoting environmental efficacy for a clean water environment, are causing over a quarter of the pollution in our area! THIS IS A DISGRACE! 

But there is more, as I have been looking at the newspaper archive again and the public were not happy with this polluter just ten years after privatisation.

It is also a fact that they appear to not like political criticism, as this piece from 1987 shows. This was the year in which Birmingham was bidding and hoping to win the Olympic Games of 1992, which of course ended in absolute failure. No doubt those calling for nationalisation of the industry again are also enemy combatants to these bloated liars. The point is at present, we cannot choose where “our water” comes from , and this is a purely politically driven obstacle.

At least this party were doing their job and calling out the failures back then.

Whatever, STW’s role is today, it tarnishes and stains the Commonwealth Games 2022, and so the whole games and its participants, as far as I am concerned are fair game for criticism, bile,  and targeting for being associated with wildlife murdering and environmental polluting fucking scum. 

I hope the games are a titanic disaster, by whatever means possible.

I could not give a shit as whoever  I might offend with this post. 

It has been a very dark time for wildfowl and those who care about them over the last 5 months. The unnatural illness and series of deaths have been attempted to be explained by the authorities into some yarn of natural “unprecedented” events, but these I will argue are highly questionable, when most people who have dealt with wild birds for many years know that  what we have been seeing here is a manmade creation and the explanations  from the so called “experts” do not add up.

I will look at the manner in which DEFRA, the Animal Plant Health Agency and others have “dealt with” this issue incompetently in another post, but this one is about investigating  their fake narrative that appears to imply that all of a sudden, ALL deaths of wildfowl over a period of five months are being attributed to this one cause, when as we shall see with direct evidence, there is no evidence to support this claim. It is important to realise that DEFRA have been the controllers of this “avian flu” throughout, with their so called “guidance”, rules and regulations and authoritarian diktats. They are a shameless fraud of an organisation, shills of the agricultural industry and in bed with wildlife criminal pursuits such as gamekeeping and all forms of hunting. THEY DO NOT CARE ABOUT WILDLIFE OR ITS FATE IF IT STANDS IN THE WAY OF ECONOMIC ISSUES. 

As with other matters, “avian flu” appears to magically have variants, but incredibly does not appear to affect all birds, or even passerine species to the level of wildfowl. How do they explain this exactly? The answer is, they have not. 

I do not believe DEFRA, their narrative or explanations or whatever suggestions they have tried to create about this situation, and firmly believe that  there has been deliberate poisoning of wildfowl by some means not yet explained to the public and which they are going to desperate lengths to cover up- such as the creation of “avian flu”. 

The fact that birds are both lethargic but also showing signs of rigidness and nervous distress such as those ingesting cholinesterase inhibitors would appear to suggest two separate circumstances to me and not one catch all “disease”. I have seen chemical poisoning first hand in birds, and things I have seen or been described as “avian flu” are not dissimilar.  Like “covid-19” , the means of achieving “assumption” of a positive case are therefore increased by broadening the range of described symptoms which do not suggest one stand alone thing. “Assumption” is therefore a very dangerous thing indeed.

THEY STOP LOOKING WHEN THEY FIND “AVIAN FLU”, THEY LOOK NO FURTHER IF THEY DO NOT FIND AVIAN FLU. 

Such methods do not appear to me to be those of scientists attempting to examine pathological cause of death, except it appears to be what DEFRA are purely interested in finding.

I had put in a request to the APHA about “avian flu” and the fact that some of the reported symptoms being attributed to this illness were in fact very similar to Virulent Newcastle disease– almost entirely associated with captive birds and the genocidal egg production/food industry, where birds are kept in cramped and unnatural conditions, murdered for profit and where disease is easily spread. Salmonella in chocolate, sandwiches and other convenience foods  is just the latest of many incidents where this industry is causing serious harm to human health, as well as the birds, but the economics of this ensure that the liars of Government and the media cover it up. The industry is not safe to human health and is poisoning people. 

For comparison, here are the official symptoms of VND as described by the UK government on their website.

Could I ask if virulent Newcastle disease has been tested for in wild birds as a matter of routine recovered by DEFRA , when the clinical signs attributed to such “avian flu” cases in the wild appear to be more accurate to this disease spread by the chicken farming industry.

The majority of this stuff is a diversionary tactic to broadly fit all diseases together in one large DEFRA managed pot. Of course DEFRA themselves were created out of MAFF, disbanded for the utter catastrophic Governmental and civil service failure to control Foot and Mouth disease in 2001. Amongst those advocating the mass slaughter of animals, to which farmers were compensated and the general public inconvenienced through closures of public rights of way near farms was the adulterer hypocrite and the Covid 19 lockdown liar fascist “Dr” Neil Fergusson. It still appears that theoretical opinion like that of this fake scientist, and the communist fucking scum at SAGE and even crazier “Independent SAGE” is largely apparent in the response of this organisation to animal disease outbreaks rather than actual evidence, and a kill it first policy is in existence.

In this regard, I firmly believe that it is this quangos intention, DEFRA, of shutting down the rehabilitation of wildlife, which of course would make it easier for the countryside rural scum to badger bait, fox hunt, shoot whatever they like and poison whatever they like with impunity. What methods they use to achieve this will probably be done in a series of incremental steps, including of course introducing the concept of a fake animal illness which is linked to human health, though the risk always “low” because it does not really exist, and which requires everything to be killed to prevent that fake scenario being created “under licence”, and then under no licence at all.

In terms of Newcastle Disease and the Swedish study, it is noted that this was linked to a disease in pigeons, rather than the issue of why so many birds were housed together providing the opportunity for transmission. The idea that the last confirmed case in the UK occurred in 2006, where it appears that cases in Belgium occurred in 2017 and 2018 is belied by the fact that the UK Government cannot even stop humans reaching this country illegally every day on boats from France bringing any and every disease into the country, so what hope that infected birds are stopped by an invisible border; is this not facile?

Let it also be said that I have found many instances of illegally dumped drugs by junkies , as well as pesticides and metaldehydes  in the environment which is highly suspicious in its own right, potentially evidentially suggestive of wildlife crime and which would produce symptoms very similar to the range that have been reported for “avian flu”. Stuff like risperidone and venlafaxine and other big pharma junk from the bloated moneymaking NHS “mental health” industry should also not be being handed out to funny farm nutters like sweeties to then liberally dump them in the environment.

This crap is also going down the shitter daily and ending up in the water cycle. It is an oral happy pill addiction that will harm us all, as well as the environment, and that is probably the intention by those prescribing them , whores of big pharma that they are in the medical “doctor” impersonation school of psychiatry.

No investigation, not interested- probably because they do not want any investigation into alternative theories.

I have also made two upheld complaints previously to the HSE about Sandwell council’s misuse of poisons by its environmental health department, and in this regard I keep an open mind as to the potential of certain individuals sowing seeds of destruction whilst promoting some fantasy narrative about migrating birds.  Poisons are not being adequately controlled, and I certainly do not trust “pest controllers” or “game keepers” to do so when they are so frequently, but seldomly caught out.  “Avian flu” has just made this matter near impossible all because of DEFRA.

In the West Midlands, the first apparent confirmed cases of bird flu were at Chasewater Country Park in swans.

Not much wildlife left there to enjoy

Chasewater is one of the largest areas of open water in the area, and attracts a large population of swans and wildfowl, as well as gulls. It is however a site that has seen large numbers of these birds die every year from lead poisoning as well as botulism, and certainly in the late 1990’s when I first started to go there regularly, every summer there were many gulls lying around with suspected botulism. No one appeared to give two hoots about this from a public health perspective at this time, and the rangers who were then in charge of the site from Lichfield Council used to take them in to try to help them. There was therefore direct contact with ill and dying and dead birds. I’m sure that precautions were taken, but no one died or became ill, remember that! 

Today, it is a very different picture with Staffordshire County Council who took over in 2014, and I have looked at the lead poisoning issue, and their lack of any attempt to tackle this issue in this post. Note, they are fully aware of the location and the issue with this and have done fuck all over the last decade, hiding behind some bullshit yarn about a historic firing range. WHAT THE FUCK DOES THIS HAVE TO DO WITH ANYTHING IN 2022 AND THE STUFF CONTINUING TO STILL BE THERE ALL THIS TIME?

This site is therefore known to be a death trap to birds already before “avian flu” took centre stage as a convenient scapegoat for absolving this shite and uncaring council from responsibility. Indeed, it probably came as a relief to them that they could blame it on something “natural”. There is of course, nothing natural about the lead dumped in this pool by some wankers from a land tipping/restoration scheme gone wrong which is the real source of the lead at this site, and not some spent bullets. They know it, and they know I know it. Those who were involved in this in the 1960’s are unfortunately probably still alive, but hopefully it won’t be that long, and if they are suffering from industrial related disease, it is what they deserve.

They had already put up notices about not feeding birds in the area concerned a few years ago, thus appearing to blame the public if birds still became ill and absolve themselves from doing anything constructive or spending any money- like removing or covering over the fucking lead. They lied about filling in a duck pond for a good period of time, and I looked at this in this post. 

SCC, like DEFRA, only appear to “care” about the “management” and “control” of wildlife and not the survival of individuals. You get the impression that all they want to survive at this site are destructive water sports and anabolic steroid users who pay money ,because that is what makes them the money and in that regard, clearing the pool of pesky birds, which do not, would probably be welcomed.

I put in an FOI request to this council for figures of dead birds in the “bird flu” period and also about the continued posting of signs , long after the deaths appear to have gone down at this site to levels associated with the normal lead poisoning/botulism cases, and also the disappearance altogether in other areas. It should be noted that there have been  some attempts to treat lead poisoned birds from this site in the past; I have caught many myself, but of course now, nothing is treated at all, as it is rounded up and killed by the RSPCA or left to die without inquiry.

I worded this request to make them squirm deliberately in answering it and to catch them out.

“(i) Please provide numbers of birds and their species confirmed to have died from avian flu at Chasewater Country Park between October 2021 and March 10th 2022. By “Chasewater” I mean all the pools within the site including Jeffrey’s swag. Please disclose the last confirmed case by date of death.
By “confirmation” I mean those birds which tested positive for HPAI or LPAI and not those presumed to have died or been euthanised exhibiting certain symptoms that have been claimed to be associated with this illness,( noting that these within themselves are similar to other diseases like Newcastle Disease or even organo-phosphorus poisoning).

7 swans, 3 Canada geese and 3 gulls have been confirmed with avian flu by Defra. Defra only test a number of samples, once the disease is confirmed in a number of samples they do not continue so the assumption is that other deaths are also avian flu. NB If different symptoms were identified then further tests would be undertaken but in this case birds were assumed to have died of avian flu once the condition was confirmed.

In total, including the above, numbers were:

Swans – 44
Canada geese – 15
Gulls – 34
Buzzard – 1
Duck – 3

(ii) Please disclose any communications between officers, rangers and councillors including emails and attachments regards criteria as to when members of the public can resume feeding birds at the site. By this I am inferring as to what criteria or circumstances you are setting for this to resume? e.g how long a period of time no birds are found dead or are confirmed to have tested positive for HPAI. Who is to make this decision and under what circumstances within the council?

Note though that there are no defined criteria on this, and in effect decisions about bird feeding in an avian flu outbreak are made operationally based on discussion with technical experts. We discussed the approach we were taking with our own Animal Health experts and with input from colleagues at Defra / APHA. There was a link up via the various health bodies involved sharing information on how things were being managed elsewhere as there were a number of avian flu outbreaks around the country. At the end of the day it is a judgement call. Generally while we are still finding even low cases of dead / sick birds we would not want to recommence feeding birds on site, and we would want a few weeks clear so as to avoid the risk of infection being carried and transferred to other places.

(iii) If it is the case that you intend to stop members of the public from resuming feeding forever, by the means of using “avian flu” as an excuse – a seasonal and this year supposed “unprecedented” event, then please reveal what legal basis you have to enforce this, again referring to communications as stipulated in part(ii) of this request? It is noted that where other local authorities advised on not feeding birds, after a period of time of no deaths, any such notices have now been removed. When do you intend to remove yours?

Our approach is consistent with other authorities – there is no intention to stop people feeding the birds permanently. We will wait until we have a few clear weeks and then notices will come down. We had cases on 31 March / 1st April so are still being cautious but hopefully we will soon be able to remove AI information from the site.

We do have concerns about feeding birds in some areas of Chasewater as it can attract the birds to areas where they can be exposed to lead poisoning, among other issues, so we would not actively encourage feeding. This is however a separate issue and will be communicated as such.

DISCUSSION.

In the first question it is revealed that out of  44 confirmed swan deaths, only 7 were  confirmed as avian flu. It is not clear how many of the dead were even tested, or less clear as to how many did not die from this claimed cause, and therefore the question should be asked , “what did they die from?”  A similar situation is apparent with the geese and gulls. This is one of the main criticisms with DEFRA, in that they appear to not give a shit about bird fatality numbers once their magic disease has been “confirmed”. These birds could all have been fed rat poison for all they cared, and the investigation into such as a wildlife crime would be non existent.

The “assumption” mentioned here for cause of death is a green light for wildlife criminals, as well as authorities which could not give a shit- including all the aforementioned Governmental quangos.

The issue of suspicious deaths then spread to sites in Walsall in an apparent “transmission”, though this too is pure speculation, as opposed to some cunt turning up committing a wildlife crime elsewhere. I am aware that the death toll in this borough for wildfowl was well above 100, many rounded up and euthanised again by the RSPCA without enquiry or investigation. By investigation, I do not just mean ferrying them off to the same laboratory who are only looking for the one thing that I have already alluded to.

As we know, it then reached parts of Sandwell in unexplained circumstances, and I  certainly know it did not just reach there from Chasewater. Sandwell council did absolutely nothing to control or prevent the spread of this alleged illness , including allowing people to still swim in open water supposedly “contaminated” with the droppings they were advising people to avoid. Thus we see here the doolally mentality of those advocating the “human health” risk in this borough and elsewhere of “avian flu”, and especially the useless UKHSA.

SMBC have to date refused to give me information as to the meetings they held with these agencies, (what are they bed wetting for and what do they fear being exposed?), and have cited nonsense excuses for withholding this information, as they did originally when they sat on the first confirmed bird in Tipton for nearly two weeks before informing the public of the, er, “public health risk.” We shall see what the ICO makes of this, who has now taken on my complaint.

As I did not believe that this council would give me the figures for the murdered birds, sorry, I slipped there, I asked the APHA for information regards the dead birds that had been associated with this “outbreak” in the borough.

As a comparison, I first submitted a request for last year

To clarify, I am seeking results tested between November 1st 2020- January 9th 2021.”

The APHA responded with the following table, and as can be seen, all were negative for AI, though it does not state where the birds were found or if they were confirmed to have died from anything else.

Two swans from West Bromwich and a goose from the Great Barr area make up the three results as revealed by the postcodes.

I then submitted the same worded request for this years figures, in light of the “confirmed” cases that had been publicised.

“Please provide all test results and their locations for birds submitted as part of the wild bird monitoring scheme for avian influenza within the borough of Sandwell , West Midlands. I include sites owned by Sandwell council, and those privately owned or owned by CRT. I am aware that the APHA compile an online list, but this does not state the geographic location on a site by site basis, which is what I am asking for, as well as the date of test result and positive AND negative tests for all birds submitted. To clarify, I am seeking results tested between November 1st 2021- January 20th 2022”

The APHA responded with the following table, which shows that ONLY 13 birds were even tested for this alleged disease. The first one from DY4, on 22/11/22 is the goose from Victoria park Tipton, the one that SMBC kept quiet about claiming that DEFRA needed to give them the green light to make it public, according to Matthew Huggins from SMBC. He said that after the case had been publicised on the APHA website, the council said they would no longer keep it quiet, and so issued a press release. in reality, I had contacted SMBC including Huggins to tell them of this fact, and so forced their hand in going public.

Before this, four unspecified birds from West Bromwich had been submitted on 2/11.21. I believe the location of these to be Dartmouth Park. There is no explanation as to the cause of death which is in itself concerning.

Further birds were then submitted on 17/12/21 from Oldbury and West Bromwich. This could well have been the Serco establishment, where by now the dead birds being found were being taken for disposal- without investigation as to the cause of their demise. There were several dozen geese dying and dead at Tipton in this timeframe, and yet no investigation was being made to establish what the fuck was going on- all based on the single “confirmed” case.

The RSPCA were also rounding up anything which could not outrun their boat, and in this regard , and with only one confirmed case, I find this a shocking practice, and they need to search themselves long and hard as an organisation as to what their role really is in this matter and generally , and that of apparent lack of evidence of natural circumstances. I have not been happy about their euthanasia of birds for some time, particularly involving botulism which can be treated, but following the orders of DEFRA and not being able to has given them reasonable excuse to wield the needle to unprecedented levels.  Symptoms, in themselves are not indicators evidentially of proof, and the symptoms themselves could be poisoning. They may call it “ending suffering”, I would call it an assisted cull. 

Three more birds were submitted on 2/1/22, which I believe may have been from Sheepwash Nature Reserve. In this regard, I would state that extreme measures were taken , not  by the council but by ourselves to “stop the spread”, and the DEFRA/council diktats and coercive messaging totally ignored. FUCK YOU DEFRA! Three were positive cases, and one negative. A further bird from Great Barr tested positive on 17/1/22.

This therefore means that despite dozens of deaths, only 6 out of 13 birds tested positive for AI in Sandwell during this period. The rest were just fucked off without a care by SERCO et al and DEFRA did not care either. THIS IS NOT “CONFIRMATION” IT IS AN ENGINEERED COVER STORY BULLSHIT EXERCISE INVOLVING MULTIPLE ORGANISATIONS WHICH ONLY KNOWN TO THEMSELVES ARE HIDING INFORMATION FROM THE PUBLIC AS TO WHAT IS REALLY GOING ON HERE. 

This does not appear to be the work of scientists to me but rather those seeking to find something once and then using confirmation bias to promote a theory that all the other birds have died from the same thing. Such bullshit would not be given any currency in a wildlife crime investigation where direct evidence beyond reasonable doubt would be required, FOR EVERY SINGLE BIRD/ANIMAL HARMED ,and in the cases I have raised here, there is a large proportion of doubt that these birds died from the illness when several of them were never tested, and of those that were, many were negative, which asks the question, “what did they really die from?”

These organisations as far as I am concerned appear to have stopped investigating wildlife crime or its potential to exist in clandestine form.

 By that I mean an investigation beyond one test for one disease they appear obsessed with finding or not finding, and then nothing further after that or looking for anything concurrent.

But I will not stop asking questions about these matters to find out the truth they are all covering up, and what they appear to be introducing with a series of sinister incremental steps. 

TELL US THE TRUTH ABOUT “AVIAN FLU”, WHERE IT CAME FROM AND WHY THE MESSAGING HAS BEEN NONSENSICAL THROUGHOUT? Treat the public with contempt, dismiss them as “conspiracy theorists” and the public will eventually catch you out and destroy you. 

It has been a while since Gooseman, The park knight trod the boards around the lair of Sandwell Council, but now it seems is the time for his return.

There are multiple issues at present with this council which are not satisfactory from a wildlife perspective, these being

• The abysmal handling of the “avian flu” situation and unwillingness to share information with us.
• Despite claiming to want to “work” with us, many staff at Sandwell council continue to work against us- including managers in parks.
• Failure to complete the West Smethwick Park project to the stated timescale, and which has now taken twice as long as it was stated it would take. Two complaints have been made to the  Heritage  lottery , who state“Following our previous correspondence, colleagues have been out on site at the park to check on progress and followed up with video meetings with the project team. We share your concerns about the slow pace of works on the lake and landscaping.  The project is running behind schedule and have now been informed that the contractor will be off site in May. Tarmacking works have been undertaken in recent weeks. The planting works will be undertaken by the Council’s Parks staff directly at which point the fencing and heavy machinery in the park will no longer be there significantly improving the appearance.”                                                                                                                                                                                                                Many birds have been unable to nest as a result of the failure to replace vegetation that was ripped out, particularly the small island which is ridiculous. The fact that SMBC are doing this themselves perhaps shows that they have no confidence in Casey the contractors anymore, and nor should they because they have been a terrible failure.

This was supposed to be a “fern island” in the restoration. The stones mean that it is inaccessible for wildfowl to get onto, particularly young birds, and has not been designed by anyone with a clue about such matters. It is also now devoid of any vegetation or cover for nesting.

• Failure of officers to fix a vandalised gate at a nature reserve, reported in December or respond to ASB issues at the same site, despite emails and contact with local councillors.

And the subject of this protest, the failure of Sandwell council to take legal action against the liars, (from the CEO down), at Severn Trent, who polluted Smethwick Hall Park with human excrement and have never paid a penny to restoring the damage that they caused, despite managers leading SMBC officers up the garden path with a so called “community fund” application to which was turned down without any explanation as to why it had failed.

SMBC were left to part desilt the pool, but in truth it was an amateur job and did not stop the continued issues at source which is STW inability to prevent environmental damage from its combined sewer overflow in the area.

There were other protests at the last full council meetings before the local elections from The Save Brandhall Golf Course group and the ongoing taxi drivers grievances, and so Gooseman and friends joined the line.

The issues were again explained to councillors Crompton and Millard, who is the new cabinet member with responsibility for parks and environmental matters. He will be getting an email about this situation and needs to put some rockets up a few arses to be sure!

What is most concerning is that Severn Trent continue to pump out their PR faster than their shit into streams. They claim to be tackling pollution in rivers, but do not mention pools or lakes like Smethwick Hall. They are also the preposterous “nature and carbon     neutral supporter” for the 2022 BIRMINGHAM Commonwealth Games, for which the “Sandwell” aquatics centre ,(SAC), has been built just 400 metres away from the soiled Stony Lane pool in SANDWELL where birds died after being exposed to this human crap.

Taking a look at the money they gave out from their community fund, there does not appear to be a single project they and their “independent panel” gave out money for in SMBC territory, even though the chair of this group lives in Sandwell herself and used to work for a company in Tipton which was heavily subsidised by work from Sandwell council, (sorry Sandwell taxpayers)!

The SAC cost a boasted £73 million , parts of which will be ripped out after the two week event when the human triangles have finished with it, and a further £6 million will be spent before opening to the public in 2023. THIS IS A SHOCKING WASTE OF MONEY, AND CONTINUES TO PUT THE AUTHORITY IN THE RED. Previously, SMBC have closed swimming baths because of their lack of use, and one wonders who exactly will be attracted to this venue, a good distance from any train station, with poor local roads and entrances into the site, on what used to be The Londonderry playing fields, now ripped out.

“Carbon neutral” is another of those green polished turds that these people like to champion, but in reality SMBC have been cutting down trees in all their parks , as has been evidenced on this blog and elsewhere, at Victoria Park Tipton, West Smethwick, Titford pools, and Smethwick Hall.

Make no mistake, we will be protesting outside the Commonwealth Games venues as they are put into use to educate people about the liar sponsors of these games and their real shit footprint stench, and the death that they cause to nature, which is unrecognisable. 

And behold, Liv Garfield performs a miracle. Perhaps she has solved drought in Africa forever more. Here’s a reminder of their 2020 performance, and the

 I touched on oral evidence given by the CEO’s of water companies to The Environmental Audit Committee in this post, but had missed the revelation of her rise to Sainthood which makes a reappearance in the latest report by the committee based on the CEO evidence. The Government report doesn’t make very good reading for Ms Garfield and her grossly overpaid colleagues.

Water quality in rivers oral evidence

At Q408, the Chair of the committee asked her if storm overflows were basically being used as routine toilet flushes, rather than in exceptional circumstances. Storm overflows were of course blamed for raw sewage pollution issues at Smethwick Hall Park and Victoria Park Smethwick.

Garfield claims, (her quotes in brown to represent her company),  “If the question is: do we have raw sewage spilling straight into rivers in the Severn Trent patch, then no, we definitely don’t.”

But this was not the case in Smethwick Hall Park, which is not a River, but a water course that is part of the eventual catchment. As a reminder, here is what the EA observed.

“P.Mullard and B.Baily… (EA officers), ….attended the Smethwick Hall Pool finding the pool containing grey water and solid sewage.”

She is therefore a liar in this respect, as raw sewage in Severn Trent’s patch, has and is going straight into watercourses.

Further on, she answers that there is no raw sewage going into rivers.

“I do not have raw untreated sewage going straight out from the works into the river. We do not have that.”

I will look more at this further on in this post, as the committee themselves were not as dim as to take Garfield’s evidence  as being in any way truthful.

She then goes on to perform the miracle. Diluted shite is obviously much better than raw shite according to her, as it contains more rainwater.  🙄

The chair then makes the point about EA monitoring, which of course as we have observed from our own reported matters, is simply not good enough when they send out the polluters to mark their own work, or cover it up as the case is. The combined sewer overflows such as the ones on Smethwick are the problem and not the solution, and need to be removed.

It is also worth pointing out that Garfield’s company under the dubious “Midlands Land Portfolio” based in the same Coventry building sells off land formerly in public ownership for housing development. Past examples include The Tividale sewage works, Roway Lane, and the polluted land in Friar park. None of these sites “crap sites for residential” were remediated by their owner company or by them, and of course contributed and will contribute to more pollution, rainwater etc into the network.

After the evidence had been gathered by the committee, the latest report by can be read here. Specifically, Garfield’s evidence and statement is heavily criticised as “disingenuous”, from paragraph 147 onwards, but I would call it as bullshit fucking lies, which is what it really is.

“148. While this claim may have been intended to reassure us about the discharges from overflows on the Severn Trent network, we do not find it convincing. Levels of pollution in combined sewer overflows are not routinely monitored. As Dr Rob Collins of the Rivers Trust told us, and as we observed above, discharges from combined sewer overflows “combine raw sewage with what runs off the urban environment”, potentially comprising “a huge chemical cocktail: faecal microbes, hydrocarbons, industrial chemicals, plastics, pharmaceuticals [and] personal care products” with unknown effects on human health if swallowed.”

Garfield’s insincere evidence is unravelled

“151. We therefore found the claim made by the chief executive of Severn Trent that its sewer overflow discharges were ‘pretty much already rainwater’ to be disingenuous. As water companies do not routinely test the quality of the discharges from storm overflows, they are in no position to make this claim. Discharges from overflows can be highly contaminated with raw sewage and other pollutants. To claim otherwise shows a disregard for the public’s concern about water quality in rivers.”

Of course we do know that Severn Trent Water do release raw sewage, and only last month , as the committee note, they were fined £1.5 million yet again for doing so. N.B It should be noted that this is only half of Garfield’s reported annual  salary for failing to safeguard the environment as CEO of this serial polluter who release tsunamis of  shite into water courses. These incidents all occurred on Liv Garfield’s watch, and maybe it is time the shareholders started asking questions, as they along with her are associated with a serial environmental polluter who desperately attempt to hide their environmental destruction by planting trees in the hope that people will not see the wood.

“Severn Trent Water Limited has been fined £1.5 million for sewage discharges from 4 sewage treatment works in Worcestershire between February and August 2018. The water company has also been ordered to pay prosecution costs of £58, 365. 

The court heard how the company failed to respond to alarms warning of a blockage, failed to adequately manage sewage sludge, and failed to adequately manage a situation when a piece of equipment failed. Resulting in sewage being discharged into a number of watercourses in Worcestershire.

Prosecuting for the Environment Agency, Counsel Mr James Puzey told the court that in February 2018, Severn Trent Water failed to respond promptly to alarms at its sewage treatment works at Blackminster, near Evesham.  A blockage to the works resulted in approximately 360,000 litres of sewage being illegally discharged to the nearby Broadway Brook.  It was hours before Severn Trent Water operatives attended to take remedial action.” 

We appear to be in the grip of a catastrophic scenario in the UK for geese and swans, apparently caused by “avian flu”. Thousands have died and continue to die due to unexplained circumstances, unexplained because smaller birds who share the same waterways, eat the same foods and who mix freely with larger birds are NOT dying in anything like the same numbers, if at all.

That strikes me as being very odd indeed, when I have seen death in several forms,over many years, due to contaminated waterbodies, and it is not as species specific as this. I am not alone in this observation, but as yet, I have not seen anyone state this publicly, or question the narrative that this is not really “avian flu” at all, but something more sinister which appears to be DNA targeted towards larger anseriformes. Whatever it is, I know that it is not a naturally occurring illness, and will challenge anyone to prove that it is when confronted with the numbers of birds that are dying in this category, when smaller birds are not.

Officially, The Animal and Plant Health Agency, carry out surveillance of diseases in wild birds, including the various strains of avian flu. Unfortunately, they do not post mortem every bird and so large numbers of birds that have died are just assumed to be victims of the same disease. In this regard, what is occurring is a cull by the back door, either from death, when no measures are taken to try to prevent illness spreading, or by organisations like the RSPCA carrying out mass euthanasia of anything which cannot outrun their boat- regardless of whether it had AI or not!

The same policy appears to be championed by DEFRA via the APHA, with uninfected birds that may have been on the same premises as those who were infected being slaughtered for no good reason. This was the case at Wychbold Swan Rescue in Worcestershire, where only 3 birds out of around 46 tested positive for AI in 2020, yet all were murdered by the APHA hit squad. The same site had the first recorded case in the new season, but this was obviously from a bird that had been brought in from a different area, in this case thought to be Herefordshire.

IS THIS REALLY “BIRD FLU”? 

Unfortunately, as I have alluded, all dead birds are not being surveyed, but just a selection, and there are other diseases transmissible between unnaturally caged and farmed birds – and one in particular called Virulent Newcastle disease. The UK Government claim that the last reported outbreak in the country occurred in 2006.

It is this disease which I believe is really circulating amongst wild birds in the UK. The reported symptoms shown on the Government website and ones I have seen myself are a perfect match, and there appears to be a blending of terms like “fowl pest” used to describe both AI and formerly Newcastle Disease. I do wonder if this is entirely deliberate. I would add to this that the birds are appearing to go blind, which may partially explain why they appear to swim in circles when detached from the flock.

Newcastle Disease is almost entirely associated with the breeding of factory farmed fowl, and it is for this reason why I believe that Government agencies are lying about the real cause of deaths of the wild birds. Those in this vile and cruel industry always blame migratory birds for bringing such illnesses into the country, yet cannot explain how their supposed biosecurity on their holocaust extermination sites (farms) get in to affect their economic commodity, from which they are compensated by the tax payer. It is easy to blame wildlife of course, as the farmers and agricultural industry have with bovine TB being spread by badgers, when it is the other way around.

There is also a “vaccine” available for this particular illness, and I wonder if it became endemic in the wild bird population, how much its value would increase for the food production sector? One might say it would be beneficial for those producing said vaccine if this scenario somehow happened?  😉

Since then , this season the level of deaths attributed to this amongst wild birds has been described as “unprecedented” by Government vets, with over 4,000 Barnacle geese alone reported to have perished in Scotland.

Unfortunately, the response by DEFRA has been abysmal in terms of dealing with the outbreak in wild birds, not least explaining why certain types of birds are dying. They appear concerned with captive birds only and the food chain, that is for those who consume these diseased farm animals to their stupidity.

There are two reasons why I both distrust and remain sceptical about academia and science dictating policy.

1.DISTRUST AND THE INABILITY OF ACADEMICS

I was involved in bringing to light the unexplained and unnatural deaths on a hazardous waste lagoon- rattlechain lagoon in Tividale. Despite the known contents- principally white phosphorus which had been dumped there , all the agencies associated supposedly with keeping safe the environment and human health dithered and procrastinated that it was something else. Their incompetence and hubris in being unable to see that science was to blame for the deaths , from failed scientists who thought it would be safe to dump a banned rat poison into an open air lake left a big impression on me, when I had to fight for the birds and their deaths and severe distress caused to be taken seriously- by those who believed the science was safe.

12 birds from 5 different species were eventually confirmed to have been poisoned with white phosphorus, dumped by a multinational chemical company with political friends, and no doubt those in the British Civil service.

The clinical signs being shown in so called “AI” at present are not unlike those dying from white phosphorus in terms of swimming in circles and twisting necks, but whereas poisoning of this type was indiscriminate of species, what is happening at present is appearing entirely species specific. (NB, all birds tested at this time at rattlechain were confirmed negative when tested for AI).

Not only were those at the VLA, as it was then known found out, they also attempted to stop me finding out the truth, as this email obtained through FOI demonstrates.

You can also read about the super group of idiots calling themselves The Chemical Hazards and Identification Risk Surveillance group HERE, which reveals more of the same incompetence and unwillingness of these people to realise that failed science, and failed scientists were to blame for the deaths of these birds. Somehow , when they cannot pin it on natural order they don’t appear to like it when their own are found to be entirely responsible.

2. SATANIC SCIENCE AND FAKE PHILANTHROPY

Science is now apparently dictated by billionaire philanthropists with an apparent Chinese fetish.

Avian Flu originated in this country and this part of the world, and their experimentation with animal zoonotic diseases for so called “gain of function” research, seemingly funded by Western Governments is worse than anything any Nazi doctors experimented on during the 1940’s. These people are truly the most evil scum, on the planet, and they will be the death of us all. But their God complex is only the same as their paymasters who fund them. You will see for example the name “Johns Hopkins” associated with table top role play scenarios concerning pandemics- from which these people appear obsessed, along with developing vaccinations- particularly for use in the third world, but now of course everyone.

Hopkins was from the evil cult known as “The Society of Friends”, along with many others of this calculating clan, forming monopolies over trade and then using fake philanthropy to buy their way into the world and attempt to shape it in their own warped image.  Albright and Wilson, whose lagoon poisoned birds were also Quakers. But they are also arch hypocrites who have misinformation written about them by their latter day rimmers protecting their made up benevolent legacy- Hopkins was a slave owner, yet fake history writes he was an abolitionist.

The other thing about these people and those billionaire philanthropists, who are of course not doctors, is their love of the ideas of the paedophile white supremacist nonce and creator of the fake pseudoscience of eugenics – Frances Galton. 

Galton was obsessed with the Chinese race also and its advancement in the world, and supplanting the African race whom he deemed lazy and inferior with chinamen in Africa. I have written more about this HERE. 

The link with birds is that one such table top exercise of this cult of eugenicists was written in 2010 involving a fictitious pandemic involving wild geese. This was written by an organisation linked to one of the most evil families in history- The Rockefellers.

Call me a conspiracy theorist, I do not care. What I do know is the difference between right and wrong, and these people are as wrong as anyone could be- their science is their religion, and this religion is evil.

SANDWELL COUNCIL LACK OF RESPONSE

As soon as the situation became clear as to what was happening in Chasewater and parts of Northern Walsall, I contacted the council to take urgent action, backed up by further lobbying with telephone calls and more emails.

It can be clearly seen here what I asked for, but the council had just put out some rather useless information about containing captive birds, as though the public themselves were the only ones that should be doing anything proactive.

To date, their response has been woeful, but is it also deliberate to try to fob me off with excuses, just as they did for weeks when birds were dying at the parks in Smethwick from botulism caused by the Severn Trent faecal attack and they could not be arsed to put up a fence for over six weeks, during which time many more birds became ill and died, and the effects spread to other parks.

They appear to revert to “DEFRA guidance”, whatever that is, which as we have seen has been incompetent nationally to date. SMBC officers stated to me that they were informed of the positive test for HPAI on 1st December, with the goose from Victoria Park Tipton being collected on 22nd November. They claim that DEFRA had instructed them not to release this information, yet I can see no viable reason why they would prevent information about public health not being put into the public domain.

It was claimed that the council had had meetings with several bodies, including, amongst others UKSA, the RSPCA and The Canal and Rivers Trust. I asked why I had not been included in any meetings, given my knowledge of bird movements and direct observation of these in the wider West Midlands. The answer I received was fairly flat. I was obviously excluded because they did not want me there. So much then for the positive meeting we had with interim director Nick Austin, who has now left the council.

Furthermore, I asked relevant questions of the so called “water team”, who have for the last 18 months of their existence done precious little work in any of the sites in Sandwell, due largely to excuses about “water training” from managers. Again I was fobbed off and told, obviously by instruction that “everything had to go through DEFRA.” They would not even give me the numbers of birds that had died in the park, or elsewhere, making it impossible for me to gage the extent of the situation.

Let’s be clear here, that from their cosy work from home office, SMBC managers have not got a fucking clue about bird movements or knowledge of them, so what hope of gaining any insight through their closed door meetings? I have to state that the RSPCA appear to have the same aloof disregard of people who rescue wildlife and are not part of a uniformed paramilitary style attired garments, giving themselves the titles associated with police forces starting at “Inspector”. They of course have no such legal powers, and have failed me before in investigating animal cruelty where the evidence I presented and went out of my way to obtain was clear.

I have of course been here before with SMBC and  the infamous goose cull in the same park, and where the architect of that cull, with his vested personal interest in organising it, instructed others to lie to me and not give me any information, whilst he attempted to also instruct the council to cover up his corrupt lies by sanctioning my lawful right to information! If this was not a matter that should have been dealt with by his senior manager, the monitoring officer and the politicians themselves in Sandwell at the time, then I do not know what one is. Of course all those copied into this email who complied and those above him who let it go were just as corrupt as him for not taking disciplinary action against him at this time and failing to see what he was attempting to do. 

I obtained this after many months putting in a subject access request.

The situation has now got out of control in this park, and sick birds have flown out from and died in other locations. It was not controlled and the management of this has been abysmal. Even now, they have not banned fishing.

It seems like another cull by the back door to me- just blame it on “migratory birds”- it’s the script that DEFRA wrote.

Well, human shit and humans talking shit actually.

Much has been written in the last couple of weeks about sewage and the failure of water companies to prevent it from entering watercourses, whilst politicians fail to act to prevent them from doing this. I will give my take on this further on in this post.

Over the last two years we have been at war with Severn Trent Water following their abysmal pollution failures resulting in the deaths of dozens of wild birds in Smethwick’s pools.

The one thing that disgusts me most is the lack of political involvement and direct public criticism of these bastards from Coventry in all that time, the three ward councillors and MP for the area being totally mute entities.

It has been left to environmental campaigners to raise awareness of the abysmal failures of the privatised water industry nationally and its avarice, and in this regard, The Rivers Trust have led the way in exposing these liars and serial environmental terrorists. Rivers however, are not the only watercourses being blighted, and unfortunately, issues surrounding “avian botulism” caused by human pollution are never brought to the table by anyone in power or influence.

The latest update on the situation at Smethwick Hall Park, the most blighted regular contaminated pool by Severn Trent in Sandwell makes for depressing reading. We had had a meeting with Nick Austin, SMBC new interim director on site, but have heard little since after he stated that he would be writing to STW to ask how many of their fabled “misconnections” had actually been resolved, and therefore were no longer allowing raw sewage to enter the water at the SMBC owned lake.

It appears that he has now left as swiftly as he arrived, and I have had to chase a reply from the council, and have received this,

“Please accept our apologies for the delay in responding to you, we are still waiting for a formal response letter to be sent through regarding the issues discussed in our meeting with STW in early September. We contacted them to chase this and at the same time asked them for an update regarding the current situation with misconnections.

The information provided by STW is as follows:

• STW are still working on identifying misconnections and to date have surveyed 181 properties with a further 61 properties remaining  to be surveyed. Since our last meeting with them they have surveyed 36 properties.

• Out of the properties surveyed, 11 misconnections have been formally identified, to date 3 have now been corrected. STW are still waiting for residents at the remaining 8 properties to rectify their identified misconnections.

• STW have installed 3 cages on the system to catch any debris that might be flowing through to the pool, we understand that these are being maintained every 2 weeks. The cages/ screens are a temporary measure while they are still surveying surrounding properties.

In addition to the above update, we can also confirm that contractors have carried out the additional sediment removal that you highlighted during our site visit.”

From reading this, this is the sum total of this company’s failure to stop raw sewage entering this lake over two years, and it is fucking shite! It does not say how many properties STW have got to survey, just the ones that they have surveyed, or what type of misconnections have been found.

The fact that they are waiting for third parties to act is another excuse on their part- they were supposedly going to give the property information to SMBC for formal action through tenancy agreement if they were council properties, though this appears to have not taken place. These people should have been taken to court. Why have they not been?

As for the “cages”, I am not sure what these even are, or how they would stop fluid pollution entering the lake. As it has been seen, it is not just floating turds that have gone into here, but the stuff that “comes from your bum, like a pellet from a gun” as the song goes.

The Failed Regulator

I put in an EIR request for the incident at Smethwick Hall Park reported in August.

“Please supply me with the NIRS form for incident 1977515 at Smethwick Hall park off Londonderry Lane, Smethwick West Midlands, please also supply any further incident reports generated off this one.
This pollution incident forms one of many by Severn Trent Water’s inability to prevent pollution through its network going into this pool. Dead birds on the pool follow these pollution incidents and are causally linked. Please also state if any officers from the EA attended this site to verify anything that Severn Trent reported finding after being sent out by the EA, and if not please state the reasons for this.”

The EA responded by sending me the info. 

This report was very poor, and in my opinion, very poorly dealt with being once again categorised as category 3- meaning that no EA officer even attended the site. This is the repeat occurrence at this site and others, where those responsible for allowing the pollution to enter a separate waterbody to their assets are marking their own work.

Following the Environment agency inaction, I queried matters surrounding this via my MP, Nicola Richards. The response by the EA below is typical shite, but does explain in a laymen’s way the process of their categorisation issues. I will comment on the content of the points made afterwards.

“Dear Mr Carroll,

Thank you for your email of 20 August 2021 regarding concerns of pollution around Smethwick Park. The Environment Agency (EA) uses the Common Incident Classification System (CICS) to classify the impact of all environmental incidents and ensure a standard approach across the country. All incidents reported to us are responded to, categorised and concluded with the most appropriate action.

We consider a range of factors in classifying the category of a pollution incident. This includes impact on amenity, length of water course affected and other measures of harm including impact on fish and other aquatic life. Officers assess information and categorise each incident on a case by case basis based on guidance and experience.

We are not funded or resourced to attend every incident so will prioritise the most significant and seek to attend all Category 1 (Serious) and Category 2 (Significant) incidents as far as possible. The presumption is we will not attend Category 3 (minor) and Category 4 (no impact) incidents. These will be managed and responded to by liaising with operators and incident reporters without the need to attend a site. However there may still be circumstances where we would choose to attend a Category 3 incident, based on local knowledge or judgement – for example, if there is a risk of escalation to a more serious incident.

With reports of this type we ask partners including Severn Trent to assess or manage the situation as the more appropriate responder. We also raise issues and concerns with Severn Trent at our regular monthly meetings. We will continue to take proportionate action against sewage pollution where there is evidence of offences, in accordance with our Enforcement and Sanctions Policy.

I note that you are unhappy with the conduct of our officer Peter Mullard. I am sorry that you feel that Peter dismissed your reports regarding this matter. Peter did take the time to speak to you in relation to your report and update you on what was happening, which we do not do for all incidents reported to us. As detailed above we are not funded to respond to all incidents that are reported to us, because of funding cuts we have received. This means we need to ensure that our resources are deployed where they are needed most. Sometimes an Environment Officer may have a conversation with their Team Leader regarding an incident if attendance of a lower category incident is required. We do not keep records to support this conversation, as you have requested in your email.

I understand that you may not agree with this decision, however, your report does provide us with useful information and your report has been combined with other data and information we hold. This helps us build a picture of environmental threats and may allow us to secure funding in the future to take action. Please do continue to report any new, reoccurring or worsening pollution on 0800 80 70 60. Obviously this once again demonstrates that wildfowl do not matter to The Environment Agency. They are not economically viable, not sold by farmers for food, not fished for commercial gain, and not owned by anyone who can make a loss from their demise. These are the only matters of interest and the real principles of the civil service and politicians who fail to make policy which cares about anything other than making money, and compensating those who lose from it. 

Of course, the third sector who deal with the wildlife casualties are never compensated for the time, vehicle miles or care needed to try to deal with the serial industrial pollution being generated by bastards like Severn Trent Water.

It is interesting to note that the EA claim that The Conservative Government have cut their budget to respond to incidents, and this may well be the case. One could therefore ask if this has been done deliberately to engineer a situation whereby the private water companies are marking their own work. It would really not surprise me at all if some insidious force were behind this.

It was quite bizarre to be contacted by Mullard again a few weeks ago where he informed me of “an oil spill” at a pool in Birmingham. We attended , as did the RSPCA and some birds had something on them. What I observed however was raw sewage going into this pool, and here is the evidence of this below- again a Severn Trent Water area. I told the EA officer about this, and he claimed “it was being addressed”. I’m sure another category 3 incident would have been generated here FFS!  🙄

Turds Take Over Westminster. 

Into the backdrop of this human filth, a few weeks ago some of the CEOS of the private water companies were summoned to give evidence and questions before the Environmental Audit Committee – this is in part relation to the emerging Environment Bill.

Despite the “shocking reports”, this committee gave this collection of poe-faced paid multimillion pound individuals a shockingly easy ride, almost one to rival the shite “scrutiny committee” of Sandwell Council all those years ago.  The only comfort I take from that abomination of 2015 is that most of the protagonists there are in one way or another are either gone or on their way out. Maybe it was the curse I put on them in the room that night.  😛  👿

For some reason, the political class appear to be obsessed with swimming in rivers, and thus this was the first question put to them- WHY? Quite why anyone would want to swim in a fucking river is beyond me, perhaps because I associate it as a place from where bodies are usually retrieved when drunks and other idiots take a dive in there.

This is not the main issue with regards to the effects that the failure to stop raw sewage entering watercourses is having on wildlife. THEY HAVE NO CHOICE BUT TO DRINK THIS HUMAN CRAP AND THEY DIE FROM THIS! No questions or evidence was sort on this as the glum faced group, except the Gushing Garfield sat there like fermenting prunes.

Garfield’s performance reminded me of a class swot actress who knew all the questions in advance, and in this she is as insincere as she is a fraud- a perfect match for the company from which she is paid over £2million annually.

Severn Trent Water are environmental terrorists, and their ability to make their own rules, mark their own work and tell lies- as I have caught them out doing, shows that the system is a failure- as are the EA.

I’d wager that bottle she was swigging from was not from one of the pools her vile failed water polluting company shat in.

It was stressed that the fabled “event duration monitors” about which both the EA and the water companies will pacify campaigners and the useless MP’s  DO NOT MONITOR EFFLUENT DENSITY OR FLOW VOLUMES, JUST START AND STOP EVENTS.

The one point that she did make concerning agricultural pollution is correct, as this industry is behind much of the Nations problems with unsustainable animal farming. But in this regard and within this company, she knew exactly what she was doing as the cowshit horcrux is one which immediately shuts up the Conservatives in the room due to their NFU funding mates getting anxious. They will not of course put any restrictions on this crap and unsustainably cruel industry- their mates in wellies.

LORDS AMENDMENT 45 AND ALL THAT JAZZ

This has produced a considerable amount of political spin, both from left in the over simplified– “the Tories voted to allow sewage companies to carry on dumping sewage” and a belated rebuttal from said group of MP’s which is as whiffy as the waste they claim not to want to go into rivers and watercourses.

What was voted down the Water loo, in amendment 45 from The Duke of Wellington, a hereditary peer incredibly, was  putting a legal duty on these failing privatised water companies into discontinuing their actions with sanction of fine.

I do not believe that the proposed Bill covers any more than tip toeing in the water instead of making waves., and once again, it is left to these charlatans to self police and come up with “plans”, no doubt under some acronym that exhibits some childish schoolgirl giggles to the headmaster when pronounced, as was seen in Garfield’s evidence to the EAC.

As for the rebuttal, including that of my MP, I have to take issue with some of the nonsense contained within.

“However, this amendment was not costed at all, and there was no plan. It would have required a significant number of new sewage systems to be built. And, more concerning, in periods of heavy rain, it could potentially mean discharge of raw sewage into our streets.
 
The amendment would have meant huge costs, potential bankruptcy for water companies, and chaos for sewage. This would have had a direct impact on consumers. In my view, this would have been irresponsible to support and that’s why I voted against it.
 
Sewerage discharge occurs during periods of heavy rain when our Victorian sewage system cannot cope with the volumes. As we modernise our infrastructure this is less and less becoming the case but unfortunately, this is a necessary evil to ensure raw sewage doesn’t back up into our homes.”
The first point I would make about this concerns the “brownfield ” building, that these Conservative MP’s so appear to want to foist on communities with overcrowding in them already. Where is the cost, and where is the plan to accommodate these into the existing Victorian sewage system? The companies do not pay for this, and are statutory consultees who never appear to object to new developments, and neither of course do the developers. Both of these industries are of course friends of the Tories.

Every development therefore has on it application plans “connect to existing foul sewer” on every planning application. Do they honestly believe that the Victorian sewers they bemoan cannot take it can take more houses connected to it? This is also the reason for so called “misconnections” and the additional building issues that go with them.

In this regard this rebuttal is utter bollocks and I am calling it out as such, when said politicians actively campaign to turn re-wilded green areas, such as at Friar Park/Bescot into another giant housing estate, whilst appearing to talk in the future tense about its existence without any plans having been approved.

“The Severn Trent site is known to contain sewage sludge up to seven metres deep with potential gas production and contamination with heavy metals. “

“It is considered unsuitable for foundations for construction and it is suggested that the sludge be moved and encapsulated with a capping layer into a bund as part of a redevelopment strategy. There are however potential future environmental liabilities associated with the acquisition. “

This land was of course sold off by Severn Trent in a very dodgy deal indeed for the taxpayer. STW never clean up their mothballed sites- this is left to the taxpayer, land that was once in public ownership but now sold off by the subsidiary ” Midlands Land Portfolio. ” How much of this makes water companies “bankrupt”  when they flog off such “crap sites for residential”?

The land is contaminated by their past use and is alongside The River Tame- where do you think it will go during the so called “clean up”? And where do you think the 750 homes will divert their sewage into- the “existing sewer”- where’s “the plan” for dealing with that, where’s “the cost” going to be met by?

As for “necessary evil”, I could not give a shit about sewage backing up into homes in this regard! It does anyway, as Severn Trent Water continuously fail to protect their customers from anyway. Brownfield building enthusiasts like Andy Street need to enter the real fucking world that they do not live in. 

It is interesting that the alleged Conservative Government cuts to staff do not appear to be being visibly deterring the army of mowers who can turn up to remove millimetres of grass from the river banks in some fit of passionate barbering.

Yet not one officer from pollution control can turn up to inspect sewage pollution caused by Severn Trent.

Is it not time that the EA got its priorities right of protecting the environment rather than houses that should never have been built on the flood plain?

The Environment Agency, aided by political planners have spent millions in The Perry Barr and Witton areas dealing with alleged flooding from The River Tame that takes place there.

This work has been going on for years, and is now over a year behind schedule without any apparent finish date. It has shut off the walk along the river for over 18 months. If I was employing this contractor, they would have had the sack by now.

Well its about “climate change” blah blah blah, “more heavy rain”, blah blah blah, well can you please explain to me how Persimmon Homes got planning permission then to build new houses right on top of the River Tame in Perry Barr, thus appearing to do so by public money being spent on this utter fraud of a “risk management” works?

Here’s a novel thought, stop approving fucking houses being built next to fucking rivers and then you wouldn’t get as much fucking sewage going into them!

And will these new houses be “at risk of climate change” in a few years, thus accruing another nice little “flood risk prevention scheme ” payday for the politicians mates in the construction industry?

I myself have had to wade in human excrement to rescue birds killed by STW and their negligence, only to then have them deny any link to the cause. They disgust me, as do their supporters. I see the benefit to their shareholders, but not to the tax payer with land that was once in public ownership. I remain defiant that privatisation of water has not worked and am a campaigner against it.

I think that people need to realise that these dots are connectable, and talk of “swimming in  rivers” a distraction from the monetary gravy train gain that is being offered to the very few. The apocalyptic pandemics and end of world climate events are simply a means of resetting a nice pay day for friends of the political class- a world that they have created, a grandstand on which they can pontificate , and a means of controlling our behaviour for their own lucrative reward. Is it any wonder why they are so hated and despised? 

You must be fucking joking!

It has been over two years now since the ghastly horror show caused by private water company Severn Trent PLC at Smethwick Hall park, where raw sewage resulted in the deaths of dozens of birds.

This pollution as it transpired had been happening for several years before this, as an FOI request to The Environment agency revealed. 

Before this, a similar event was occurring at Victoria Park in the same town , a pool fed by the Thimblemill brook, (see further below in this post), some of which is culverted, but other areas allowing a view of pollution flowing through it.

This blog has uncovered a great deal about these events, and investigated how this company have been failing for years to control what goes through their network, as well as causing pollution through their own negligence and also deliberate folly. They have been fined again and again, but it is not enough, and too much they are getting away with, as this case proves.

There are two phrases which need to be properly defined in conjunction with reading this post, and both have been deliberately misused by both Severn Trent and the environment agency in an appalling effort to try to dismiss the events as somehow “natural”.

The fact is is that these deaths do not occur on all pools in the summer, and do not occur as a result of “climate change” or anything else. They occur due to linked pollution events where sewage and human waste enters waters where it never should have and this then starts the poisoning of the environment by the die off of small invertebrates which are then ingested by the wildfowl. To call this

“AVIAN BOTULISM” is a grotesque and disingenuous lie, as I have alluded to before. They claim it to be “natural”, but cannot answer as to why it only appears to occur in certain heavily populated urban areas, and never countryside areas, and why not in all water bodies within these urban areas, just the ones where manmade pollution and human faeces is visible. I WOULD LIKE TO STATE AT THIS POINT THAT I KNOW I AM RIGHT IN STATING THAT ALL “AVIAN BOTULISM” IS BEING CAUSED BY WATER COMPANY FAILURE IN ALLOWING RAW SEWAGE TO ENTER WATER COURSES. 

It suits both the failed private water companies and the EA as their useless regulator to attempt to defraud the public of the facts in this matter, and so a symbiotic relationship emerges where they both lie about the direct pollution through manmade cause. The human health risks are also played down, and one should perhaps look more closely at outbreaks of e-coli and norovirus and people’s contact with water bodies that have become polluted with human waste. This used to be the bread and butter of what “public health” was about, but now we appear to be dominated by a “pandemic” where they even attempt to track an alleged virus, rather than human shite entering water bodies where it causes more damage.

“MISCONNECTIONS”

This term is a lie because it appears to water down and suggest the threat of the pollution as being less harmful to the environment than it really is. STW would like the public to believe that this is just “dirty water” from washing machines, but what it really is is everything flushed down the bog untreated going straight into a water course. Why lie behind a word, we can see exactly what it is, so stop treating the public like fucking fools!

STW have been claiming they have been working on this for over two years now, and indeed it has come to my attention that one of the properties was an express supermarket store located up the road from Smethwick Hall park. From what we have seen , they have not done the job of preventing raw sewage going straight into this watercourse. IT’S A HUMAN HEALTH RISK, AND EVERYONE KNOWS IT. 

SMETHWICK HALL PARK

After Sandwell council had forged ahead with a partial desilting of the pool , there had not been any recorded deaths, (at least not seen by us), that is until around the end of July , which followed a noted sewage pollution incident in the lake. Two dead geese were reported, and following this, dead coots and mallards.

There were the usual used bum rag tissue remains, sewage fur and sanitary towels lining the pool inlet area, along with grey foul smelling water punctuated by floating globs of shite.

Unfortunately, this area is serving as a sewage filter bed at present, allowing algal growth to explode around it. It is an area where the birds, particularly smaller ones gather to dabble. I believe strongly that this is what is causing the worst of the deaths.

As before, we thought the best way to proceed was to erect a fence out of this area to stop the birds entering. We were not going to wait for the inaction of SMBC again to do this.

Following the isolation of this area from the birds, there have been no subsequent deaths, though some braindead tosser keeps throwing split peas into the  area which are now turning mouldy!

It is quite apparent that this area was not dredged by the council contractor, and this is a poor oversight on their part. 

I reported the matter as always to the EA, and obtained a reference number. I knew full well of course that the useless EA would just pass this on to the polluters- Severn Trent to investigate. On this note I saw two STW staff pay a less than 5 minute visit to the site to apparently take a water sample from the inlet end. No tests were done at any other points on the pool during this visit.

The other observation concerned the allotments, through which this heavily polluted water flows into the pool. I saw some individuals using a mechanical digger on the site, and it was clear that some excavation work was proceeding. I was told by an SMBC employee that a pipe was located in the area.

What is also clear is that the van that had bought the digger had the Severn Trent logo on its side, as I have seen the company AMEY a subcontractor use this, I assumed it to be them, but what were they actually doing on the site?

Both the EA and SMBC park managers contacted STW where they were told that STW denied going onto the site. I was separately told when enquiring about what had happened by the EA local office for an update that STW had located “misconnections” and had “tankered out” the pollution from this site. I asked them “had they jet washed this out so it came down the stream, and therefore into the pool”, where I was told they had not.

I contacted Ross Stokes, and Andrew Fairburn of STW, who we had met on site a year before claiming that STW would be doing all kinds of wonderful things, which have yet to ever transpire, as well as sending SMBC down a diverted path for their so called “community fund” which they turned down.

We can see what had escaped from the evidence in the pool, so why lie?

The response I received denies that STW or their operatives were on site, so I am still therefore baffled as to what actually happened here and what individuals appear to be covering up. Perhaps some dodgy character is going around pretending to be “the water board” on a van having the Severn Stench logo on it doing foreigners? This claim is also entirely different from what the EA told me and so it is little more than bullshit.

I’ve made a formal complaint about the EA in relation to this incident, and their lack of response where I have also asked for the incident response form. I was told by the officer that they did not come out “due to Government cuts”. I would like to see this in writing, and have also taken this up with my Conservative MP, who may also have something to say about that.

As for SMBC, who are not working with Severn Trent at all, I am still to resolve when their “water team” is going to start retrieving dead birds by using a boat, which SMBC possess, as well as who is going to take dead birds to the APHA at Shrewsbury for post mortems. There is friction between managers in parks, and Grounds maintenance, which the water team come under. This is something that SMBC must resolve, as it has been left to us once again to retrieve the dead coots that were left to rot.

The birds were riddled with maggots, meaning that this is another source of infection for other birds who may ingest contaminated maggots.

A meeting on site took place this week  with SMBC interim director over parks. We will see what transpires from this and I will hopefully post something positive soon, though I am not holding my breath based on previous experience. He does however appear to recognise the importance of obtaining and preserving a chain of evidence in connection to the third party private water company wreaking havoc on a council asset.

VICTORIA PARK AND THIMBLEMILL BROOK

I am not very familiar with this watercourse, but have now added it to my regular checks. It flows towards Smethwick into the Victoria Park inlet via Norman Road and Cheshire Road, and has three open sections, where some lengths also pass under culverts.

It is a Site of Importance for Nature Conservation. Three small pools are present, and on my first visit the first two wee fairly clear, but the third by Broadmoor Avenue stank. I am also aware that Sandwell valley countryside rangers had reported a pollution issue to STW and the EA in July, and it was described to me that it was the same familiar grey water, sanitary towels and crap. The council had had no feedback from either of the two organisations. I have mentioned this to the new director at the council to take these matters up. Clearly once again, this private water company are not working with Sandwell Council.

Last year, a similar event appears to have occurred at this brook course shortly before we noticed dead and ill birds on Victoria Park. Of course they are linked, linked not by “misconnections” but by Severn Trent Water’s pollution of this brook which they appear incapable of stopping.

WEST SMETHWICK PARK

This park, not linked in the same way as the others appears to have suffered as a direct result of infected birds flying onto the site in 2019 and then dying, and thus starting off the process of deaths.

The new concern is a result of managerial and planning related negligence in that they appear to think it a good idea to drop the water levels at this time during the hot weather and undertake purely aesthetic works as a part of a heritage lottery “restoration” of the park. This project is a strange chimera vanity project however in that although they want to anally restore a view from some early 20th Century postcard around the lake, they also want to erect a new white elephant building that was never there. Like the aquatics centre down the road with its spiralling multi million pound costs, it is an obscene waste of money that could be better used- on nature conservation and clean healthy pools for example.

I requested and was told that the works would be put off till the winter, but I was lied to again by SMBC. 

“Restoring” something that was never there.

Workers were starting to drain the top pool and the water levels are now at what I consider to be dangerous levels for the fish.

To make matters worse, the aerators fitted at the pool appeared to have been turned off, and once again I had a rambling incoherent nonsense from parks management as to what was occurring here, with the claim now being that they “turn on and off”.

It also now appears that the council are to remove a large section of reed bed from the lake, to be replaced by the “terra cotta army” of sectional concrete blocks lined up on the former boathouse area.

But fear not, apparently it’s only going to be 1.5 metres from the bank that is going to be removed so that these can be put in. WTF!!!  😡
